Brussels Energy Club is pleased to invite energy professionals to join Oil Markets, Price Forecasting & Commercial Fundamentals, a 3-day industry training course in Brussels, delivered by S&P Global Energy.

Overview
As oil markets continue to be shaped by shifting supply and demand fundamentals, geopolitical uncertainty, the evolution of OPEC+, changing benchmark structures, energy transition dynamics, and increasing risk exposure, professionals across the energy sector need a clear understanding of how oil markets operate — and how prices are formed, assessed, forecast, and managed.
This training course will provide participants with a market-driven view of today’s global oil markets, from physical and paper trading mechanics to benchmark pricing, price discovery, commercial strategy, risk management, hedging, and long-term market outlooks.
Over the course of the programme, participants will explore the fundamentals of the world oil industry, the role of futures markets and price benchmarks, the mechanics of crude trading, oil price forecasting, carbon-related market developments, and practical approaches to managing physical and financial exposure.
The course will be delivered by S&P Global Energy experts, using the latest data, benchmark insights, and market analysis from S&P Global Commodity Insights.
