BREC’s members have participated in the annual international conference organized by ADA University

The 4th international conference on “Shaping the Geopolitics of the Greater Eurasia: from Past to Present to Future” was organized by ADA University in Azerbaijan on May 2-4.

The key event of the conference was a discussion with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. Marat Terterov and Nadezda Kokotovic from BREC attended the discussion, with 60 social scientists, former officials, and journalists from the US, Japan, Great Britain, Hungary, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Turkey, Italy, Korea, etc.

President devoted a significant portion of time to energy and transport projects in the Caspian and Central Asian regions. The overview of his key statements on these topics is summarised by Nadezda Kokotovic in an article for Energija Balkana.

Nadezda Kokotovic answered questions from Azerbaijan’s media and said that such an international conference is a unique opportunity to discuss the role of Azerbaijan in Eurasia.
