Evgeny Yankovoy

Project Leader, EMEA

Evgeny Yankovoy is a European project management and strategic communications specialist with over a decade of experience engaging EU institutions and international stakeholders across the energy and public policy sectors. He brings a unique blend of expertise in energy geopolitics, regulatory affairs, and stakeholder engagement, shaped through roles with the Russian subsidiaries of TotalEnergies and BP, as well as the Australian Embassy in Moscow, where he conducted energy-focused policy analysis for both diplomatic and business audiences.


Evgeny has led communications and reporting for major EU-funded projects in Brussels, working closely with senior representatives from the European Commission and the European External Action Service. His contributions have strengthened the EU’s external engagement strategies, increased visibility across the EMEA region, and supported cross-sector dialogue. In previous roles with Kesarev Public Affairs and the SKOLKOVO School of Management, he developed and delivered outreach strategies across 25+ countries, with a strong focus on energy policy and market intelligence.


He holds a Master’s degree in Management of European Affairs from the University of Lille and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Law from the Russian Law Academy. Evgeny is fluent in English and Russian, and proficient in French.
