Igor Zgurov

Igor Zgurov began his career in the early 1990s in the financial sector in Ukraine. By 1993 he became Deputy Director for International Operations of the financial and investment company NPK-Bank (Real-Bank), Ukraine, where he worked for three years. In 1996-1997, he worked as Deputy Chairman of the Board at JSCB "Maritime Transport Bank".
He then led the banking-consulting department of a media company (1997-1999). From the early 2000s, he became actively involved in the gas distribution sector in the Odessa region of Ukraine, as well as in upstream gas exploration and production in Central Asia, holding executive positions in several companies.

In 2014 he became a member of the Supervisory Board of VEMA CARBON, a Switzerland-based consultancy involved in applying technologies to reduce green house gas emissions in oil and gas upstream operations. He is also on the Board of Directors of Yug-Neft-Gas, an upstream exploration company active in Central Asia and North Africa. He also remain on the Boards of several banks and remains active in the financial sector.
